LL Research Channelings

Over the past few months the early channeling sessions of LL Research have been lovingly converted to video format by someone behind the YouTube account "Living Light & Love". 

LL Research are the group behind the Law of One material produced in the early 1980's and these channelings pre-date the Law of One by up to 10 years. They are of the highest order and well worth a review by the inquisitive seeker. 

The reproduction is of the highest quality and is the best I have seen of the verbal reproductions of spiritual works I have seen.

Nag Hammadi Library - The Gospel of Thomas

The Gospel of Thomas is one text in a collection of apocryphal texts discovered in 1945 in Egypt. There is an intriguing story about the discovery that is retold, along with the publication of the texts, on the Gnosis.org website.  However, the basic background of the texts are that they are dated from the second century AD and were likely buried to preserve them from destruction by conformists to the newly defined orthodoxy of canonical scriptures defined by the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. This council was convened by the Roman Emperor Constantine to define an authorised and controlled standard for the Christian Bible, that unfortunately did not include the Gospel of Thomas. As a result, it is as close a reproduction of the direct sayings of the one known as Jesus as is possible, miraculously by-passing 1700 years of censorship.

I have read some of the texts in the Library over the years, but there is none so profound and intellectually accessible as the Gospel of Thomas. It has become a resource that I am continually drawn back to as explanation for metaphysical concepts expressed in a way that is readily interpretable. 

This is important as there is a real problem in trying to describe metaphysical concepts in a language and through a form of communication that is constrained to the physical scope of our material reality. It is impossible to precisely and accurately explain the principles and concepts of a reality that transcends our senses with words that do not. So for seekers of truth and understanding, such explanation can shine a bright light on The Path, providing much needed guidance and clarity. 

In the Diamond Sutra, Gautama Buddha explained it thus in that dialog with his follower Subhuti:

"They should recall that in teaching spiritual truths the Buddha always uses these concepts and ideas in the way that a raft is used to cross a river. Once the river has been crossed over, the raft is of no more use, and should be discarded. These arbitrary concepts and ideas about spiritual things need to be explained to us as we seek to attain Enlightenment. However, ultimately these arbitrary conceptions can be discarded."

Hence, it is that a seeker of understanding needs accurate and unadulterated explanations from the enlightened, that are otherwise unavailable. With the correct context and experiential insights (only gained through meditation), such words are transformed into concise explanations of concepts and principles to further one's spiritual progress and development. Without the proper experiential context, though, one is prone to misinterpret, not understanding, and be confused by such explanations of metaphysical concepts.

Thus it is with the sayings of Jesus reproduced in the Gospel of Thomas. I quote them often, as invariably these millennia-old didactic parables, are more concise and to the point than anything I can say.  

If one looks at saying 3 for instance, as the first of the explanatory sayings, we see "Jesus" laying the reality of our experiential existence bear for the inquisitive seeker to readily understand, while the ignorant just see an arrangement of words in grammatical form. 

3. Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.

When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."

Too often people are seduced into the mistaken belief in a plural "we", identifying not as an individual but as a member of a collective, defined by common traits, beliefs and attitudes. But here Jesus is saying quite clearly that if you are so defined and identify with the edicts of ignorant leadership of your collective, then you are deceived.

Instead, he says know your true nature to be children of the living Father (individuated aspects of the conscious and aware Infinite Intelligence, aka the Creator) and you will be known (by other self-realised individuated aspects of the Creator). Otherwise you are nothing but the poverty of unrealised potential. 

In what is effectively the very first saying of Jesus, transcribed 2000 years ago, he tells us directly, that our job is to transcend this mundane existence to fulfill our potential as self-realised co-Creators. That the universe is alive, that we are intrinsically linked to it and there are other beings waiting to welcome us upon our graduation. 

Do you not wonder at the intelligence that could have possibly compressed so much detailed information into 5 short sentences, yet still make them appear as words without poignancy to a casual reader? Honestly, to be able to provide such graphic detail on the nature of our reality, while preserving the free-will of people not yet ready to open their hearts to the truth of our existence is in itself mind-boggling, let alone any consideration for the quality of the lessons embedded.   

I say lessons, because there are multiple layers of information in this saying. In addition to what I just outlined, there is also the repudiation of identifying as part of a collective, the identification that there are the unscrupulous who will leverage that ignorance to deceive and manipulate you, that the onus is on us each individually to do the necessary work to "know" ourselves,  and that the consequences of not doing the work is that we are the source of our otherwise endless suffering. 

I mean, really, how did he do it? It is truly amazing! The only thing he did not define was the "how" of knowing oneself. But it is of practically zero effort to identify what the method of self-discovery is. It takes only to ask the question, before the answer is apparent and your journey to self-realisation is begun.

Message from Gaia

 

 

Last Friday I enjoyed a period of meditation in the morning. It was a lovely morning, and possibly the last warm days of Autumn, so I choose to sit on the grass in the garden. This is not so unusual as I find something very energising about meditating outside in direct contact with the Earth and often do it when the weather permits. So that was the circumstance in which I arranged myself on two small cushions, lit a stick of incense and commenced my period of meditation. 

I had arranged a global Earth Healing meditation on Saturday and this was on my mind, and after a period of concentration in Calm Abiding, I was drawn again to enter the inner-realms where I sometimes make contact with the entity I conceive of as the Earth Goddess, Gaia. 

As I write this I recognise, or at least the thought enters my mind completely unbidden, that I am procrastinating in prose, further delaying the articulation of the Communication I received. Which is true enough, I guess, but I do think that it is necessary to frame these sort of communications in some personal context so as to allow the reader to more intimately connect with the message. 

That being said, the heart of the message Gaia imparted was quite direct and brief. 

The turmoil is about to increase.

The global energies of darkness are at risk of enforcing their structures of control across all the populations of the world, and it is necessary to disrupt these actions. The earth changes are an effective means to redirect the energies of the populace towards true service to others, while exposing the empty irrelevance of the powers of control and their ill intent towards the populations in promoting fear to entrain them towards compliance. 

There is a war for control of the Earth being waged and you are all volunteers who have chosen to join the fight by lending your energies to the world at this time. Your timing was perfect to be where you are right now, and all you need do is believe in your power as sovereign entities able to recreate the world, outside of the existing controlling paradigm of limitation.

While writing the above for this post, the following words were also received, and as they seem to flow on from the message of Gaia I include them below. 

The abundance of the universe is infinite and you can access this directly, without intermediaries, through love. Just open your heart in love toward others and by sustaining this higher frequency you unlock the ability for infinity to flow through you and into the world.  

It is with love, therefore, that I share this communication. It is always a challenge of faith to publish something that is able to be scrutinised for its veracity and accuracy. But I am as interested an observer as you in this regard and will watch on with interest to see if there is increased turmoil originating from the natural world.

Notice from Gaia on Global Events

Again this morning, after completing my usual preparation process, I settled my mind in meditation practicing clam abiding. However, it was not long before I felt a sensation pulling on my attention, calling me to re-enter the inner-realms. Unsure why, and half anticipating a dialogue with guides on some of my current financial concerns, I followed the inner-pathway into this realm and I landed at the feet of a Guardian. After a curt "welcome", he requested I accompany him to meet with Gaia. Again, I followed along and entered the glade within which Gaia was seated and greeted her as I approached and knelt before her. I offered her my service and was told she wanted to provide some detail on the situation with Earth.

"Beginning from now," she said, "the irrationality of humanity will be disrupted with earth changing events. These will consist of volcanic, earthquake and tsunami events around the world."

The thought of "where?" had just began to float into my awareness, and she continued with "the people of Hawaii will suffer."

"These events are necessary to breakdown the structures of control that are subverting the choice of humanity to follow the path of freedom and love into a new realm of experience on Earth. Humanity as a whole has already made this choice, but the systems of control and those enforcing them are working to oppose this choice and impose an alternate future of dependence and conformity, creating a discordance in the planetary energies. These imposed limitations on humanity resist the progress of earth and its peoples into the new density of experience. It is necessary, therefore, to disrupt these energies and topple the controls to create the conditions for the free choice of humanity to express itself."

With that the attention waned and I found myself being escorted back to the entry point where I quickly gave my thanks for the opportunity to communicate with Gaia and returned back to the present and my awareness of sitting in half-lotus position. Following the conclusion of my meditation I chose to have some breakfast and as I prepared a quick bowl of Muesli cereal an internal dialogue commenced confirming the need to maintain an "empty vessel" so future communications can flow, hence I am publishing this here just a short time afterwards.

This information is both disconcerting for the overt confrontation occurring between the forces of planetary evolution and global government, and relieving knowing that the otherwise unstoppable encroachment of social controls over individual freedoms are being interrupted. In any event, it appears that we will be spectators to very challenging and interesting times shortly and we can only hope we are not to become collateral damage. Depending on your personal circumstances, particularly with respect to Hawaii apparently, taking some precautions might be prudent. Foremost amongst those would be maintaining to clear and peaceful mind. I would suggest that above all, this would make a big difference to your well-being and ability to cope and to be able to assist others in adverse circumstances. Also, quietly making some advance plans for living through societal disruptions, before they hit you, could prove beneficial to yourself and others. 

A good opportunity to focus on what is truly important and leave the fear inducing drama of Covid-19, the US presidential elections and worries about other political narratives behind. 

(21) Mary said to Jesus, "Whom are your disciples like?"
He said, "They are like children who have settled in a field which is not theirs. When the owners of the field come, they will say, 'Let us have back our field.' They (will) undress in their presence in order to let them have back their field and to give it back to them. Therefore I say, if the owner of a house knows that the thief is coming, he will begin his vigil before he comes and will not let him dig through into his house of his domain to carry away his goods. You, then, be on your guard against the world. Arm yourselves with great strength lest the robbers find a way to come to you, for the difficulty which you expect will (surely) materialize. Let there be among you a man of understanding. When the grain ripened, he came quickly with his sickle in his hand and reaped it. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear."

Gaia Meditation – 7:30am

 I have been consistently meditating multiple times per week for a number months now and this morning followed my usual process, but instead of seeking the clam abiding of Samatha, I moved to directly engage with the inner realms. So, after setting my protections, I entered the inner world and was greeted by a Guardian from where I was escorted into the sanctuary of Gaia. There, I apologised for not transcribing my most recent two meditative encounters with Her or the messages she provided regarding the transition of Earth into the new realm of light. 

Gaia, or at least the representation of her that I was able to perceive, informed me that the difficulties of existing within a sea of distraction was understood by her and my failure was anticipated. I implored her to again provide some communication on the matters of the world that I might go immediately, following my meditation, to write them down. She agreed and what follows is the best remembrance of her words to be shared …

“One can ease the transition to the new Earth, for not just themselves but the entire planet, by living from the heart with love.  Opposed to this are the ideas of forcing one’s fantasies of the nature of existence onto others. The Totalitarian view of controlling others to conform to their own ideas of existence is a major force at work in the world that is creating an ever-greater divergence from the path of planetary transition. 

This transition is unstoppable, however, and it is best to be in harmony with it. The changes will manifest in physical, societal and psychological terms.”

“How might we best harmonise ourselves with this transition”, I asked and Gaia itemised the following three points:

• By avoiding areas of Vulcanic activity, or earthquake zones;
• By respecting others as sovereign beings, while appreciating that they are faced with their own unique challenges and burdens, and by being grateful for the contributions they each make in the world; and
• By living from the heart, sharing love and joy with others, to find peace and meaning with your place in life. 

After writing this message I realised that there was something else that I had failed to record, and so I re-entered the meditation and re-engaged with Mother Earth.  After congratulating me on my diligence, she continued.

“The final part of my message was that the world will separate through the dissention of those opposing the transition. Those with a preference for living their fantasy of collective compliance and enforced controls, without respect for the individual sovereignty of others, will find that the tumultuous transition they are perpetrating on Earth will not bode well for them. Those with the spiritual maturity to accept the changes occurring and align themselves with the higher frequencies of light in the new density of existence, will be protected and find peace and happiness through embracing the inevitability of the change while holding their focus beyond the distractions of others. Their actions are nothing other than an effort to seduce you into accepting their fantasies of control. The truth is that they have no real control over the events that they will experience and force their followers to experience. Their appearance of control is just a continually shifting illusion. A shimmering façade that will be torn to tatters by the unrelenting events now necessary to move those that are in harmony with the higher density of light to the New Earth.”

Sensing that her message was complete, I asked, “Is there something you can say that will be recognised as authentic by those that might read this?” 

To which she replied, “my message is to not live in fear, but to embrace the possibilities of a lighter existence, where love, respect and gratitude are common values, and where mastery of creative manifestation for the greater good is the common practice.” With that I offered thanks for the message and promptly returned my awareness to the present. 

May we each find hope and support in this message for our efforts to en-lighten our existence.

The (He)art of Lockdown

With many of the peoples of this world being forced to curtail their social activities during this time of the Coronavirus pandemic, it occurs to me that this is increasing the possibilities for interpreting one's experiences with others through the lens of fear, perceiving others with a sense of critical assessment and harsh, prejudicial judgement. With a hardened heart, and a view of one's self as more important and other's as less so, one is quickly on the path of separation and service-to-self, with an increased perspective of one's self-importance.

With the personal objective of these times being to "to open the heart in compassion, love and understanding", this type of reaction to the Coronavirus situation might be considered spiritually limiting and counter-productive to one's evolution.

Following my meditation yesterday morning, I was left thinking how I might avoid such a trap and instead, confirm and support my efforts to open my heart in service-to-others.

Later in the day I happened to pick up Book 3 of The Law of One. I thought that it was strange that I would do so, as I had not really been drawn to that subject matter for a number of years. With that recognition, I decided to take a step of faith and open the book randomly to read the first thing that presented itself. It was, perhaps unsurprisingly, on the topic of the conscious processing of Catalyst (the events and circumstances one is presented with in this incarnate experience) to engage the higher energy centres, such as the Heart Chakra.

Without a spiritually informed world view, one might conclude that there was no relationship to my prior concerns about lockdown. Instead, I observed the synchronicity of the passage read as actually being an answer to my earlier concerns and recognised the reward of purposefully taking a step in faith, to be influenced by a higher intelligence. I would never have had the keenness of mind to so succinctly conclude that consciously processing the situations experienced in lock-down through the heart chakra is the answer. Yet there it was in black and white on the randomly opened pages in front of me.

The lesson was, that even though there may be limited opportunities to interact with others in enforced isolation, one can still commit to their practice of developing one's awareness and spiritual growth on the positive path, by:

• providing support and encouragement to others where they can;
  
• recognising and appreciating the support and encouragement offered by others; and
  
• processing situations through the heart and the filter of loving kindness.

For more perspective on the "vulnerability" of loosing the intensity or focus of the Heart Chakra, consider this quote from the Law of One. In it, the "rays" correspond to the respective Chakra energy centres.

The portion covered is this: the green-ray activation is always vulnerable to the yellow or orange ray of possession, this being largely yellow ray but often coming into orange ray. Fear of possession, desire for possession, fear of being possessed, desire to be possessed: these are the distortions which will cause the deactivation of green-ray energy transfer.

The new material is this: once the green ray has been achieved, the ability of the entity to enter blue ray is immediate and is only awaiting the efforts of the individual. The indigo ray is opened only through considerable discipline and practice largely having to do with acceptance of self, not only as the polarized and balanced self but as the Creator, as an entity of infinite worth. This will begin to activate the indigo ray.

Conceptual Distortions, Śūnyatā and the Path

I could launch directly into my recent insights, but the context through which they were arrived at is probably at least as important as the insights themselves and bears some explanation...

I have been struggling with maintaining my position on the path for some years, and have found it difficult keeping up with a consistent and regular schedule of meditation. I have had short periods of regular practice that may last one or two months, interspersed with extended periods of irregular practice where I might only find time for meditation once a week. However, over the past few months I have found a renewed will to integrate my meditation practice into my material life and have been able to slowly increase my meditations to 2 or perhaps 3 times a week. After maintaining this frequency with opportunistic and irregular times for meditation, at some point a spiritual activity threshold must have been hit, for the level of metaphysical focus within my life began noticeably to increase. This took the form of topics in general discussion increasingly involving spiritual concepts, to explanations of the ancient Chinese Oracle of the Book of Changes (the I Ching) and the Tao Te Ching, to people connecting to me seeking further understandings. The effects of these engagements has been to enhance my resolve and commitment to my meditation practice even further, slowly increased my meditation frequency to daily over time.

This all seemed to create a significant juncture of events last week where, I receive some spirit guidance to regularise my practice by waking to meditate in the early hours of the each morning. Since receiving that advice, I have awoken (without any alarm) between 3:00am and 4:00am to continue my practice in the solitude of the pre-dawn. The affect has been to approach again the lucidity of my prior state, and this morning I carried into meditation my reflections from the previous night on the path described by the Ankh symbol and the polarity of our experience in Verse 2 of the Tao Te Ching. While holding those ideas, I entered meditation and my mind settled on the question of:

How does the polarity embedded in our worldly experience impede us on the path to enlightenment?

And so, now after exemplifying the compounding and beneficial effects of increasing one's frequency of meditation practice with the above description, I can share my insight arrived at during Vipassanā meditation this morning at 4:00am. 

Duality

All things have opposing attributes or characteristics. The word "thing" is completely inadequate to described the vast array of concepts and manifestations that fill our existence, but perhaps it is the best we can use in our language. Nevertheless, everything that we experience through our senses has this duality of character.

Lets consider a few examples:

Achievement	Success / Failure
Movement	Stationary / Motion
Illumination	Light / Dark
Containment	Empty / Full
Flavour	Bitter / Sweet
Size	Large / Small
Effort	Easy / Difficult
Distance	Near / Far
Temperature	Hot / Cold

As you can see, each of these "things" (these psycho-physical concepts) has a polarity of extremes associated with them that then defines a relative spectrum between the dual extremes. That is, for example, the Appearance of something might be perceived as more or less Beautiful, depending on one's preferences.

More over, the objects of our perception might also exist as Concept complexes, with multiple Concepts associated. For instance a thing might have Attributes of Size, Appearance, Temperature and Effort, for which we assign relative values. For many of these things, our discriminative processes form a sense of appreciation (Favourable / Unfavourable) that is in line with our biases and preferences.

It is this sense of appreciation that stimulates our attachment to these perceptual objects from whence springs our desires and ultimately our obsessions.

Distortions

However, in our attachment, we may fail to recognise that the Attributes we observe in these things are all just expressions of the polarity that is embedded within the fabric of everythings within our experience. From the spin of the sub-atomic particles (+'ve or -'ve) identified by physicists, to the flavour of our favourite foods, all things are distorted by this characteristic of polarity that defines the spectrum of its expression.

This polarity is the reality of our experience and coupled with the realisation of Sunyata, that nothing exists independently of the causes and conditions of its creation, we are armed with the tools necessary to perceive the reality of existence and the futility of our attachments to these objects we perceive.

Desire

The following morning, I awoke again and I pursued this question further, seeking to better identify and describe the mechanism by which the characteristics of duality in the phenomena of our existence inhibit our self-realisation and spiritual progress. To do this, I sort the more active and direct engagement with my spirit guide and transported myself to the inner-world within which he is most accessible.

He explained that by identifying our preferences (like/dislike) for the experiential phenomena that surrounds us, our desires are stimulated for more of our likes and less of our dislikes, giving rise to ega consciousness. Our conceptual discriminations trap us, as it where, into becoming attached to phenomena and identifying with our desires. These are then open to stimulation by others that profit from your entrapment. You are then seduced into an existence of sensual desire, reacting to the stimulus provided and open to the opportunity for attachment to be obsession.

Equanimity

Instead, observing that all phenomena has with it a spectrum of polarity of associated attributes and expresses itself as a manifestation within that spectrum, we can maintain our objectivity of perspective and can appreciate all things for their unique qualities and maintain an equanimity of disposition towards them.

That perspective raises one above attachment and the possibility of identifying with our desires in an egocentric existence. Instead, it allows our embrace and appreciation of uniqueness to maintain a steady and consistent state of loving kindness toward all phenomena.

The Path

In the symbolism of the Ankh, the releasing of attachment positions one on the Path, designated by the vertical axis. Our progression towards transcendental wisdom and enlightenment exists in observing the true nature of the phenomena that surrounds us; that being Śūnyatā - empty of any independent existence and impermanent. 

May we all find the will to commit to regular mediation and release our attachment to and desires for the impermanent phenomena of this world.
